Nobility, the essence of you a sight to behold
Zen, what your voice gives to the soul

They say the night is young
This one forever young
Your remembrance fuels the midnight oil

Pain entered momentarily
Where though?
Inside, heavily

Craved a smoke for a month
Refrained from touching it, holding it
Just to make it last
But the cigarette burnt out
As soon as it touched my lips
Today, after a while
I removed the thorn in my side
I had begun to get used to the pain
It had began to outweigh my pride
Living in a storm wishing for more rain
Forgot what the sun felt like on my face
Forgot why the moon used to make me smile
Now in a new place
Because today, after a while
I have finally removed the thorn in my side
